Joy + Lucas | Beacon Hill and Boston Seaport Engagement

I first met Joy and Lucas at the Chinese Christian Church of New England in Brookline, where they will be wed. It is a beautiful historical church with lots of characteristic inside and out, just like the sweet couple.

Joy and Lucas met when they were in college, where they both found each other following their faith. They spend their time and efforts with the community but also enjoying life as it comes.

I had such a great time with these two on their engagement session. I was delighted to find that Lucas plays the guitar and even asked if he could bring it to our session. It was really romantic, I think Joy fancied that part a lot!

Almost a week left before the big day! I can’t wait!

The Burke Family | Elm Park Worcester, MA Portraiture

a few weeks ago, i met up with ruby, derek and their adorable babies cayleigh and dylan. it began looking like it was going to rain any minute, but we got lucky and occasionally the sun would peak out every now and then. everytime i have a session with kids, i like to bring bubbles, cause how can you go wrong with bubbles?! cayleigh was memorized and dylan couldn’t stop running everywhere to pop them all. it was a good time.

i found with kid photography, it is a difficult task to get everyone to look at the camera at the same time and smile… i guess that just wouldn’t be natural! i’m finding that that’s even better and i am loving the candid shots even more. as long as there is laughter in the photo, i feel i’ve done my job.

enjoy this fun loving bunch, the burke family.

Amy Kunberger | Self Portrait

I’m glad to say I know a really amazing person, Amy Kunberger. I met Amy through work almost 3 years ago. She is a talented graphic designer and an awesome friend. We actually share a lot of likes, such as typography, Asian food, and shopping at Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters! Right now, Amy juggles work, school and taking care of her lovable greyhound, Manly, with her husband. With such a busy schedule, even at the end of the day, she’s always got a great smile to her cheerful personality.

I’m so glad I got a chance to capture Amy and show her fun and graceful side through the photos. As always, it  was such a pleasure to hang out with Amy!
