I’m really excited to share with you guys this fun and loving couple, Karman and Jeff. Karman instantly became a friend from so many different connections! I feel honored to be the one to document her and Jeff’s special day (since Karman is also a photographer…very talented!) Their engagement session was so fun, I had no idea they were so funny and quirky! Just by hanging out with them from this session, I can tell they were made for each other!

The Gutierrez Family | Elm Bank, Wellelsey Portraiture

About two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing an adorable little girl named Laurel and her family. Of course every family/kid session I have, I like to bring the kiddos bubbles to play with. It’s a no brainier, kids + bubbles = great photos! I think Laurel really enjoyed them! I have to say, we almost postponed our shoot because of possible thunderstorms and it had been raining all day. Well, we took the chance and winged it!

So glad we did because right as we started, the skies cleared up and the sun came out to say hello. Of course that made for a happy little girl! Laurel was already energized from her short nap from the car ride. She was ready to take on the world, her and her teddy bear. By far, Laurel has one of the cutest smiles! I think it’s contagious, I caught myself smiling behind my camera a few times. Even now, looking at her photos it puts a smile to my face. She is so darn cute!

Jessica + Mike | ICA and Boston Seaport Engagement

It was a beautiful september evening, the air was crisp and the combination of the sun and the cool breeze made it feel like the start of fall. I met up with Jessica and Mike at the ICA on a Sunday afternoon. It was was great because it was just us there, with maybe a couple of friendly stragglers.

As we moved along to the seaport, we bumped into this man using ropes to create bubbles. The bubbles were the size of 5 huge watermelons put together. It was pretty cool, we watched and then wondered to the seaport.

The whole time Jessica and Mike were simply enjoying each’s company. It was so sweet and natural. I tried to capture those moments, even got a few chuckles in as they talked amongst themselves. Towards the end, for some fun and excitement, I had them jump for joy for their big day. Can you tell how excited they are?!

I had a great time hanging out with these two. It was a lovely stroll around boston at this time of year. I can’t wait for the big day! It is going to be amazing!

Geniece + Jon | Elm Bank Wellesley Engagement Session

These two are one of the cutest couple I know! Throughout the session, all I saw were smiles from cheek to cheek. Jon can make Geniece laugh instantly and Geniece has a laugh that is highly contagious. They are meant for each other.

I met Jon back in the day when we worked at the movie theater together. When he told me he was a fan of my photos and wanted me to shoot his wedding, I was overjoyed to hear the happy news. It was so great to meet Geniece, and hang out with the two of them! I can’t wait for October 6th!
